World's Worst Bloggers
Welp, it's official, Ash and I are the world's most awful bloggers when it comes to keep posting things. We should probably work on that a bit. I won't make this a very lenghty post since there's really no point that I'm trying to get across to whoever reads this. So I will make a promise that there is a slight chance of being broken that Ash and I will try and do something blog worthy very soon.

Prom Weekend
Ash and I were very excited that we were going to get to spend prom with our new friends from Spain. Starting off the night before, all of the Spain kids and the students hosting them and then a few stragglers, (including Ash and I) went to a friends house for a bonfire. It was sooooooo much fun! The kids from Spain had never been to a bonfire before so they were excited just about that. They also had never jumped on a trampoline, so watching them flimsily fly up into the air was hilarious. We all had so much fun singing any random song that the Spain kids would think of. Most of us had one of the Spain kids, Machuca, draw a mustache on our fingers and we got some real cute pics. We all had so much fun that night. The next night was prom, we took some classy pics and danced the night away. Alvaro, another one of the Spain kids was quite the ladies man that night. We had a super fun time dancing to the macarena because all of the Spain kids and us Americans got into a huge circle rather than getting into lines. It was a classy time. The end of the night was bittersweet because we thought it was our final fairwell to all of our new friends. But their flight had some issues so they stayed an extra day. But yeah, just so you all know we did not just have our prom. We had prom three months ago, I am just too lazy to finish a post on time. So hopefully the next time I write a post it's something that is more current.

Our Life with Spaniards
Okay, so just over three weeks ago, some students from my school visited Spain. They were there for a week and then the week following their return, the students from Spain that they stayed with came to the U.S. Ash and I were super excited because Turtle was going to be hosting an exchange student. I think it was the first day that the exchange students were here that Ash and I went to the mall with a bunch of them. But before I go into the mall details, I need to tell you about what happened when Ash and I first met Turtle's exchange student Beli. When Ash and I got to Turtle's house we got out of the car and walked up to Turtle and Beli, who were standing on the front porch. Ash and I walk up to them and then Beli stands about a foot away from Ash. Ash just kept talking to Turtle and then realized how long Beli had been standing there. Then when Ash stopped talking (it's a miracle, I know) Beli leaned even closer and kissed Ash on each cheek. We had totally forgotten that in Spain when you meet a new person you kiss them on each cheek! Beli did the same to me but of course I saw it coming so it wasn't quite as awkward for me as it was for Ash. So after that awkwardness we all hoped in Turtle's car, also known as Carlos, and headed for the mall. On the way Ash and I were asking Beli questions and we figured out quickly how much we loved her. We found out super fast how sweet and nice she is. We got to the mall and met up with another friend and her exchange student Meli. Meli and Beli were pretty excited that they were able to speak Spanish even though Meli is amazing at speaking English. Anyways, we did some shopping and then found out that another couple of friends and their exchange student was at the mall. So then we hung out with them while shopping too. Before we left the mall Ash and I had met a total of four exchange students, Beli, Meli, Alvaro, and Marina. They were all pretty cool kids and such. We all sat down and discussed what we wanted to do for the rest of the day. We all decided that we should go to the beach. So we all hopped in our vehicles and headed to the lake. When we got there Ash and I met yet another exchange student named Andres. We all walked and talked and then when we got to the beach we played volleyball in a big circle, which is something that they do in Spain. It was super fun and we all had a grand ole time. After our toes were frozen we left the beach and went out for pizza. We filled a hole corner of the resaurant because there was about 20 of us there. After pizza we all started to head home when Kailey, Meli's host, invited us all to come to her house to watch a movie. So then we went there. We all got settled down and everyone agreed on watching "She's the Man" which I had never seen before. So I got to watch it for the first time ever...in Spanish. It was quite interesting. It was super funny because the Spaniards and us Americans all laughed at different parts and Meli kept saying super funny things in Spanish about the movie. After the movie we got invited to yet another person's house for a bonfire to meet even more exchange students. So some of us went there and also met Machuca, Valle and Hector. We didn't stay very long because the person whose house we were at was trying to show off big time so we got quite irritated. By the time Ash and I got home that night, we had met all but 1 student. So yeah, I could schpeel about when they were at school and such but I don't think anything super exciting happened so I won't even go there.

Best Dollar Ever Spent (Spring Break)
So Ash and I had been looking forward to spring break since winter break and we hoped to have some amazing stories to tell but since we were both stuck at home almost everyday our mini adventure will have to do. So on the day we got out of school Ash and I and our friend Maddy headed to Speedway. And no we didn't go to fill up the gas tank but instead to get slushies. When we walked into the store Ash and I saw that they had 4 new slushy flavors and we were literally jumping up and down because we were so stinking excited. After the three of us had finished our beverages we decided that we wanted to jump on a trampoline so I called up another friend, one that actually has a trampoline, and we headed to her house. We jumped on her trampoline and then the four of us played some basketball and quite honestly none of us did very well. Then the four of us went inside and watched some hilarious YouTube videos and ate some popcorn. It was the perfect way to start off our spring break. So then Ash and I didn't see each other again until Monday when we went out to lunch at Panera with Maddy and Turtle. After we finished our lunch, we went to Meijer to waste some time. We all got some bubbles which ending up being very entertaining for pretty much the rest of the night. When we left Meijer Ash thought it would be a brilliant idea to open her bubbles in the car and blow bubbles out the window. It was extremely entertaining. We went to Maddy's house afterwards and then Turtle had to go home so Maddy, Ash and I went downstairs and played just dance for a while. Then Maddy convinced her dad to play just dance and that was honestly one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I mean just imagine a 6'5" guy in a basement with 7' ceilings dancing to Kiss, it's pretty dang funny. Then the three of us girls went outside and finished off our bubbles and we all made a mess. Then we all went home and such. Then we were super cool kids and Ash and I haven't hung out until today (well technically yesterday since it's almost 2:30 in the morning.) So Ash and I went quad riding and we ended up getting the quad covered in mud and we were covered from head to toe in splatters of mud. When we were done quad riding we had to clean the quad off and it took us forever! Then we went and got some ice cream even though we were freezing cold from washing the quad. Then after we finished our ice cream trip we had a temple run battle. I lost. Then Ash decided that we should play xbox. Well neither of us knew what the heck we were doing so then we were talking to Ash's brother and cousin on xbox live so then we had to play some racing game which I managed to get 8th place every race (and if that sounds peculiar to you that's because I lost every time.) and then we played Call of Duty which I wasn't as bad at but still awful. Then we came out into her new trailer and watched the movie Grown Ups which I just watched for the first time so I was very entertained. Now we've just been chilling and calling out friend Turtle every hour and I'm sure that Turtle will find our voicemails very entertaining. But yeah I should probably start to wrap this up so I hope ya enjoyed reading it! <3 Meg

Panera Bread, Meijer and Vintage Shopping
So today was possibly the most entertaining day ever. After we got done with our testing school junk, the juniors were allowed to leave school. So Ash and I and some other friends were going to do lunch. So we went to Panera Bread and Ash had never been there before so she goes up to the counter and says, "I've never been here before so I hope what I ordered was good...I'll take french bread cuz it sounds fancier...What! You bring the food to my table!" She was quite excited. And then she said, "Guys, I hope you enjoyed me, I mean I hope you enjoyed eating the food, I liked doing lunch. But yeah, thanks for coming to lunch with me." I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. And then we went to this antique/vintage shop and we saw some cute stuff but we also saw a guy steal something. So then we decided to go to Meijer and first we went to the toy aisle. We found some colored bubbles that Ash freaked out about so know we want to have a bubble party and wear white t-shirts and get some bubbles on them. Then we read the bubble bottle and it said do not use at weddings or indoors. Haha. Ash got the great idea then to slide down the aisle in her socks and almost biffed it onto her face. Then we went over to the fishing poles and stuff and I found a Ripstick that wasn't in any packaging so Ash was ripsticking it down the aisles and almost ran into a couple just minding their own business. So then she finally put that away and went over to the kayaks and her and her cousin grabbed some kayak paddles and were pretending to paddle with them when I saw an employee come over and she was all like, "Umm can I help you with anything. This is not a playground, so if your going to buy something then that's great but if not you need to leave." Ash just said ok but she wanted to say, "Girl I will bite you before you bite me!" It was absolutely hilarious. So then we ended up leaving Meijer and went to these two little shops in our hometown and walked thru them forever cause they had the cutest stuff in them. They had super cute furniture and accessories. It was great. And what is better than a Shamrock shake to end a perfect day off of school.

The ACT and Spanish Homework
So it's that time of year I suppose where us Juniors have to take the stupid ACT. To make matters worse Megan and I had make-up work to do for the classes we missed. So during the ACT the girl I was sitting next to got a paper cut and she wasn't allowed to get a band-aid. Haha but it was funny how she was freaking out and it was a very challenging task for me not to talk during the test...I like to talk, a LOT! lol when we were done taking the test there was a rat in the hallway so me and megan decided we need to set a mousetrap with some Skippy peanut butter. We got out of school early, yet had to do our stupid Spanish homework, in which our teacher makes us watch videos that are not so appropriate, like way beyond the borderline! That was our day...fun junk. haha :P
